We are delighted to open our ‘Club Rasson’ in October for an amazing musician: Nicolas Thys, one of the greatest Belgian bass players ever. He has shared the stage with Toots Thielemans, Kenny Werner, Philippe Catherine, Lee Konitz, Zap Mama and David Linx, to name only a few. Nowadays you can see him playing in Taxiwars, Kris Defoort’s poet society, James & Black and the Nicolas Thys trio. A master on the double bas, solo in our living room: a unique opportunity you don’t want to miss!

Nicolas Thys himself says: ‘After 30 years of being social, we are finally on our own. My double bas and I travelled around the world. we played with musicians of all kind, but never before we dared to be on stage alone, just the two of us. Wood, strings, bow, percussion, harmonics, notes, … so many things to explore together.’
