What a year, the great artists keep coming at the Rasson concerts. It is with great emotion that we welcome a true Soul-man, Bai Kamara junior. For several decades, Bai Kamara Jr. has integrated his acoustic guitar with his voice and writing, creating a distinctive sound that defines both his solo performances and his work with the Voodoo Sniffers. His acoustic guitar has been the cornerstone of his music, shaping a unique soundscape.
Today, Bai Kamara Jr. embarks on an exciting new chapter. He performs solo with the electric guitar, exploring new sonic and emotional dimensions. He desires to offer a more intimate, nuanced set, creating an even more direct and intense connection with his audience.
He reinvents his playing style, offering a varied repertoire that marries tradition and innovation. Each piece has been meticulously chosen to illustrate the richness and coherence of his new musical approach. And if references were still needed, John Lee Hooker, Sting, Ali Farka Touré, and J.J. Cale would be magnificent companions for Bai.
